Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands high school football Players of the Week Poll!
High school sports fans can vote for which football athletes they think were standouts during the previous week.
The poll will be open from Monday through Sunday. The winners will be announced every Monday along with the new poll.

Week 1 candidates
Jayden Barber, Dennis-Yarmouth
Dolphins quarterback Barber went 20-for-32 for 382 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing 10 times for 35 yards in a 40-38 win over Mashpee.
Jacob Bohlin, Dennis-Yarmouth
Bohlin caught five of Barber's passes for 153 yards and two scores.
Kaio DeCosta, Martha's Vineyard
DeCosta threw two touchdowns (40 and 50 yards) and ran in for another as the Vineyarders beat Sutton 40-20.
Dillon Chapman, Monomoy
Chapman scored twice in a 22-14 win over Wareham.
Daniel Cordeiro, St. John Paul II
Cordeiro scored two rushing touchdowns for JPII in a loss to Holbrook.
Shemar Dillon, Dennis-Yarmouth
Dillon finished with three catches for 91 yards and two touchdowns as the Dolphins beat Mashpee.
Tajardo France, Barnstable
France had four receptions for 38 yards and carried the ball eight times for 83 yards and a TD for the Red Hawks in a 49-14 win over Brockton. On defense, he also had a 40-yard interception for a touchdown.
Jack Kalkus, St. John Paul II
Quarterback Kalkus scored two total touchdowns in a loss to Holbrook.
Ty Kelley, Bourne
Utility player Kelley scored two touchdowns (one rushing, one passing), kicked three extra points, and had a hand in a forced fumble in a 21-0 win over Upper Cape.
Aiden Kundel, Barnstable
Quarterback Kundel had himself a day as he went 16-for-22 for 271 yards and three passing TDs, and added seven rushes for 51 yards and two more TDs on the ground in a win over Brockton.
Walter Mayo, Dennis-Yarmouth
Mayo pulled in seven catches for 80 yards and a touchdown in a win over Mashpee.
Brian Neves, Mashpee
Neves recovered a fumble (bad snap by the Dolphins) and returned it for six in a loss to Dennis-Yarmouth.
Guilherme Oliveira, Martha's Vineyard
Oliveira rushed six times for 197 Yards and three touchdowns in a win over Sutton. On defense he had six tackles and an interception.
Brendan Peno, Nauset
Sophomore QB Peno threw two TD passes in a loss to Norwell.
Chevy Shakespeare, Barnstable
Shakespeare caught four passes for 96 yards and two TDs in a win over Brockton.
Logan Wills, Mashpee
Wills had two rushing touchdowns, including one for 56 yards, in a loss to Dennis-Yarmouth.
