Five Franklin County athletes named to PVCA All-District teams

The high school volleyball season is nearing its conclusion, so recognition is starting to come forward.

The Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association released its All-District teams this week, and Franklin County is well represented on the District 3 squads.

From Greencastle-Antrim, sophomore Abby Eagler and senior Lily Kauffman both were named to the PVCA District 3 3A 1st team. Blue Devil teammate and senior Brianna Woodring was named to the 2nd team.

Elsewhere in Franklin County, James Buchanan senior Edith Ellis was named to the 3A 3rd team.

In 4A, Chambersburg senior Addie Kegerreis was named to the 2nd team.
