First varsity goals and more: Vote for the Boys Hockey Athlete of the Week

Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Boys Hockey Players of the Week Poll.

High school sports fans can vote for which boys hockey athletes they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Thursday through Wednesday. The winners will be announced every Thursday along with the new poll.

Rules of the Road

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week’s Players of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Chase Field, Barnstable

Field won his first poll of the season with 65% of the votes. He scored all three goals for the Red Hawks in a 3-3 tie with Martha's Vineyard.

Chase Briggs, Falmouth

Briggs scored twice to lead the Clippers to a 4-2 win over Barnstable.

Jack Connolly, Sandwich

Connolly scored twice to lead the Blue Knights to a 4-1 win over Middleboro.

James Crowell, Bourne

Crowell had a pair of assists in a 7-1 win over East Bridgewater.

Dom Delvecchio, Upper Cape

Freshman Delvecchio had a hand in both goals for the Rams scoring his first varsity goal, and assisting the other, in a loss to Nashoba Regional.

Zephyn Johnson, Upper Cape

Johnson had a hat trick in a loss to Diman Regional Voke.

Ty Kelley, Bourne

Kelley had a goal and an assist in a victory over East Bridgewater.

Dana Leach, Bourne

Leach scored twice in a win over East Bridgewater.

Will McAdams, D-Y/CCT/CCA

McAdams had 25 saves in goal in a 1-1 tie with Monomoy/Mashpee.

Ty Rebeiro, Upper Cape

Rebeiro scored a goal, and also had an assist, in a loss to Nashoba Reg.

Dominic Silvester, Monomoy/Mashpee

Silvester had 30 saves in a tie with D-Y/CCT/CCA.

Cole Thomas, Bourne

Thomas recorded his first varsity goal, and added an assist, as the Canalmen beat East Bridgewater.
