Several teams were interested in his services but in the end Foles settled on a reunion with his old head coach Andy Reid. According to Mike Garafolo at Fox Sports, Foles has signed with the Chiefs.
2. Leon Hall signs with New York Giants
The top free agent defensive back on the market has also found a new home. Former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Leon Hall is expected to sign with the New York Giants today, per Rand Getlin of NFL Network. Ian Rapoport says it’s a one-year deal for $2 million.
3. NaVorro Bowman signs extension
Veteran San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Rapoport is reporting that Bowman has agreed to a four-year, $44 million contract extension.
4. Cowboys target Josh McCown
Having lost the Nick Foles “sweepstakes,” the Dallas Cowboys are now interested in trading for veteran quarterback Josh McCown. One problem: ESPN’s Ed Werder says that the Cleveland Browns are not eager to part with him.
5. Jay Cutler fires back at Bennett
The Bennett brothers had some harsh words for Jay Cutler in an ESPN profile that was released yesterday.
