Finally, we have pictures of Tom Brady in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform

As expected, Tom Brady in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform is a weird sight.

It’s mid-June, and we finally got our first non-photoshopped look at what Brady will look like in pewter. Considering it’s the first time he’s worn a uniform outside of the New England Patriots or Michigan Wolverines since he was in high school about 25 years ago, the release of some pictures of Brady in his new jersey was a bit jarring.

It will really be a shock to Patriots fans, so brace yourselves.

Credit Brady, ever the actor, for even mimicking an audible as he pointed at his head during the photo shoot. This was a full-service reveal.

We’ll see if this turns into a palatable sight (Joe Montana in a Kansas City Chiefs uniform), a legitimately memorable part of his career (Peyton Manning in Denver Broncos colors) or downright weird (Franco Harris with the Seattle Seahawks, Joe Namath with the Los Angeles Rams, Johnny Unitas with the San Diego Chargers, etc.).

Because of the odd offseason due to coronavirus, we haven’t had the normal pomp and circumstance associated with Brady signing with a new team. In some ways, that’s adding to the intrigue.
