Final score prediction for Rams vs. Seahawks in Week 10

The Seahawks have been one of the best teams in the NFL for a large part of the past decade. They’ve been a threat to the Rams in the NFC West every year since Sean McVay took over in 2017, yet L.A. has consistently found ways to play Seattle tough and even win outright a bunch.

In the last three years, the Rams are 4-2 against the Seahawks and have only been held to less than 28 points once. They’ll try to make it 5-2 on Sunday at home, their first game of the season against the Seahawks.

The Rams are favored by 1.5 points over Seattle, which is somewhat surprising. However, they’re coming in fresh off a bye with Jordan Fuller and A’Shawn Robinson both returning from injury, too. The Seahawks just lost on the road to Buffalo, will be without starting center Ethan Pocic and cornerback Shaquill Griffin, and they have the worst pass defense of the Super Bowl era.

This is a very winnable game for Los Angeles, and it’s one that could give McVay’s squad a lot of momentum as they begin the second half of the season. The Rams struggled mightily in Week 8 against the Dolphins, but this is a perfect bounce-back opportunity for them.

Jared Goff should have success against a bad Seahawks secondary, which should also lead to good performances by Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. The Rams do have to worry about the heavy blitzing attack of Seattle, with Jamal Adams often coming on blitzes, as will Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright.

The Rams struggled with the blitz against Miami, and Seattle could take a similar approach this weekend when attacking Los Angeles’ offense. It could turn into a shootout and while Russell Wilson will be tough to keep up with, the Rams have the firepower to do so.

They’ll come away with a narrow victory on Sunday afternoon and grab a share of the NFC West lead, holding the tiebreaker over Seattle.

Final score prediction: Rams 31, Seahawks 28
