Last week marked the end of the athlete of the week polls for this school year and we thank everyone who participated and voted each week. The polls will return in the fall and we hope everyone enjoys the much-needed vacation in the sun this summer.

As you enjoy the time off, be on the lookout for the all-county teams for spring sports in the coming weeks. We will also have a summer series on the Mount Rushmore of all six high school athletic programs. The four names are synonymous with each program past and present.
