Faulkton-Highmore Hitmen slip past Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern 6-5 in Legion baseball

REDFIELD — Ryan Ellingson tossed eight solid innings with eight strikeouts in leading the Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar to a 9-5 amateur baseball victory over Redfield DQ on Tuesday.

Ellingson also added two hits, including a double, for Aberdeen (6-2).

Kelly Coates produced three hits and Chad Ellingson and Lucas Heiser each added two for Circus.

Easton Millar had two hits for Redfield. Millar and Keith Gall each doubled.

Legion Baseball

F-H Hitmen 6, Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern 5

The Faulkton-Highmore Hitmen scored on a passed ball with two out in the bottom of the ninth to slip past Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern in the American Legion Baseball game on Tuesday.

Layne Cotton homered and singled for lead the Hitmen (8-3). Cade Schick added a double.

Xavier Kadlec had a triple and two singles for WIN, which also received two hits from Ashton Remily, Fehi Faonelua and Quinton Fischbach.

WIN hosts Claremont on Thursday.
