Fantasy football: Matthew Berry has Giants’ Saquon Barkley ranked in top 5
Fantasy Football guru Matthew Berry, of NBC Sports Edge, has ranked the New York Giants’ Saquon Barkley as his No. 3 overall running back heading into the 2023 season.
Barkley is currently not participating in the Giants’ offseason program and is said to be far apart with the club on a contract extension.
Keep in mind the offseason workouts are voluntary and Barkley is known to keep his body in shape year-round, so his ‘holdout’ should don’t impact his 2023 performance as long as he reports to training camp in late July.
Berry is ranking Barkley strictly on his 2022 Pro Bowl performance where he rushed for 1,312 yards and 10 touchdowns while catching 57 passes for 338 more yards.
