Fans blast Giants president John Mara on social media after blowout, Daniel Jones injury

As the New York Giants' season came up snake eyes out in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon, fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to give team president John Mara a piece of their minds.

Not only did the Giants lose, 30-6, to the Raiders, a team that fired its general manager and coach the week before, but quarterback Daniel Jones was lost to another injury.

The Giants leader was public enemy number one for some fans during and after the embarrassing loss that dropped New York to 2-7 on the season.

One person tweeted: "John Mara is not serious about the New York Football Giants if he lets [Coach Brian] Daboll and crew fly home on the team plane tonight."

Another wrote: "Not only do I fire the coaching staff, but the GM and John Mara need to go as well. The coaches are not the ones who drafted/sign/traded for these players. John Mara has no business as Prez of the Giants, he too is a huge failure."

"The Raiders got blown out on Monday night then blow out the Giants with a first game head coach. That says it all…. When will John Mara sell the team? This is a terrible coaching staff except Wink. Something bigger needs to happen. 12 years of garbage," wrote a fan.

Here's a look at some other reactions by Giants fans and media members:
