Fan Vote: Gadsden Times area Baseball Player of the Year with 43 nominees
The Alabama high school baseball season is over and with that its time to vote for who was the best of the best.
Through noon June 3, you can vote for your choice for the fan vote baseball player of the year. There are 43 nominations. coming from all area nominations and other sources. They represent 15 schools including eight of the 10 Etowah County programs.
It was a pretty successful season, even with no program bringing home a Blue Map Trophy. Westbrook Christian made a run to the state title series, falling in three to Thomasville. Coosa Christian made it to the semifinal round for the first time in school history, while Sardis made it the quarterfinal round.
