Falcons CB A.J. Terrell OUT Wednesday, Dee Alford to return

The Atlanta Falcons will practice on Wednesday without starting cornerback A.J. Terrell, head coach Arthur Smith announced earlier this afternoon. In Week 7, Terrell attempted to play through a thigh injury but left the game in the first quarter and did not return.

On the flip side, cornerback Dee Alford, who was held out of last Sunday’s loss to the Bengals, will return to the practice field Wednesday, per team reporter Tori McElhaney.

The Falcons could be in some trouble if Terrell isn’t able to play this week since the team is already without starting CB Casey Hayward (injured reserve) and safety Jaylinn Hawkins (concussion protocol).

Stay tuned for Atlanta’s full injury report following Wednesday’s practice.
