Eric Ebron nearly comes down with first touchdown grab
Lions tight end Eric Ebron almost caught his first career touchdown Monday night against the Giants.
Matthew Stafford threw a swing pass to Ebron in the end zone in the first quarter, however, his throw came short of the target. He didn't see as many reps as Brandon Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria, but was used often in goal line situations. That's where his only two targets came on the night. He was held without a grab in a 35-14 Week 1 victory.
The Lions will travel to Carolina for a showdown against the Panthers in Week 2.
