How are El Paso athletes doing on the college level? See several who are finding success

Several El Paso high school athletes are finding success at the collegiate level. Here is a look at how some of them are faring.

  • Former Andress football player Jeremiah Cooper has 18 tackles, three interceptions and two passes broken up for the Iowa State football team.

  • El Dorado graduate Cedarious Barfield has 20 tackles and three interceptions for the San Diego State football team.

  • Former Hanks volleyball player Madison Spencer has 49 digs and 14 assists for the Howard Payne University volleyball team.

  • Eastlake graduate Anaelena Ramirez has 58 kills and 10 block assists for the Grand Canyon University volleyball team.

  • Burges graduate Alec Marenco has 22 tackles for the University of New Mexico.

  • Franklin graduate Sydney Varela has three goals for the St. Mary's soccer team in San Antonio.

  • Eastlake graduate Zuleica Cruz has 310 assists for the Texas A&M Texarkana volleyball team.

  • Eastwood graduate Sasha Bajek has 77 kills for the Texas A&M Texarkana volleyball team.

  • Montwood graduate Madison Arrieta has 238 digs for the Texas A&M Texarkana volleyball team. Arrieta was named this week's Red River Athletic Conference Defender of the Week with 52 digs last week.

  • Eastwood graduate Caitlan Buettner has 171 kills and 135 digs for the University of Iowa volleyball team.

  • Chapin graduate Camila Ramirez has 141 kills and 51 digs for the Our Lady of the Lake volleyball program.

  • Chapin graduate Allison Mata has 29 kills and 22 total blocks for the Our Lady of the Lake volleyball team.

  • Coronado graduate Sarah Dankovich has 94 kills for Smith College.

  • Pebble Hills graduate Ariana Helbling has 61 kills, 391 assists and 214 digs for Taft College.

  • Eastwood graduate Andrew Martinez has 869 yards passing and eight touchdown passes for the Sul Ross State football team.

  • Eastwood graduate Isaiah Pena has 311 yards receiving for the Sul Ross State football team.

  • Chapin graduate Tatyana Colon has 141 digs for the Sul Ross State volleyball team.

  • Ysleta graduate Cassandra Espinoza has 99 kills for the Sul Ross State volleyball team.

  • Chapin graduate Daniella Garcia has 98 kills for the Sul Ross State volleyball team.

  • Clint graduate Carlos Arreola has made two field goals and is 7 of 8 on PAT's for the Sul Ross State football team.

  • Franklin graduate Alyssa Duran has 106 digs for the UT-Arlington volleyball program.

  • Franklin graduate Bianca Chacon has four goals and six assists for the New Mexico State soccer team.
