Eagles announce 3 more roster moves ahead of first training camp practice

The Eagles will hold their first training camp practice of 2023 on Wednesday and the team announced three roster moves ahead of the workout.

Philadelphia made the Deon Cain signing official, while also releasing tight end Dalton Keene, and placing wide receiver Devon Allen on the Active/Non-Football Injury List.

Deon Cain signed

A USFL standout in eight regular-season games with Birmingham, Cain tallied 182 yards and two touchdowns. Cain won the 2023 USFL Championship Game MVP Award after catching three touchdowns against the Pittsburgh Maulers.

Dalton Keene released

A third-round pick of the Patriots in 2020, Keene saw action in six games and caught three passes for 16 yards during his rookie season but missed the entire 2021 season due to injury.

Keene spent time on the Eagles practice squad during the 2022 season.

Devon Allen

After spending the offseason competing in the 110M hurdles, Allen was placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury List.

Allen can be activated off the list at any time. He still counts toward the 90-man roster limit.
