Dylan Edwards discusses how Coach Prime flipped him from Notre Dame to Colorado

One of the fastest players in the program already, incoming freshman Dylan Edwards arrived on campus early and has made a strong impression so far this spring.

The four-star running back was originally committed to Notre Dame, but he removed his pledge on Dec. 8 and came on board with the Buffs just two days later.

On Wednesday, Edwards met with the media for the first time this spring and was asked about his decision to join Deion Sanders at Colorado. Edwards said that before Coach Prime was even announced as Colorado’s head coach, he reached out and convinced the Kansas native to visit Boulder. Similar to several other recruits in those early days, Edwards liked what Sanders was beginning to build at CU.
