Dunkin’ Just Released DIY Halloween Donut Kits With Spooky Icing and Sprinkles
Dunkin’ has already brought the tricks with its new Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut, and now it’s time for the treats! The Halloween DIY Dunkin’ Donut Decorating Kits will provide a fun and tasty activity to do with your family on Oct. 31. Hey, you need some sugar to fuel up for trick-or-treating, right?
You might remember that earlier this year, Dunkin’ released DIY donut kits at select shops in California. Now more people will be able to get in on it, because the Halloween version is coming to more locations. As you’d expect, the spooky donut kit is perfectly on theme so you can stay in the moment.
The kit includes plain yeast or Old Fashioned cake donuts — you can choose either four or nine donuts. They’re prepackaged with orange, white, and black icing, as well as three sprinkle blends, so no two donuts will be the same! Let your creativity roam and make sure you have plenty of room in your belly, because after snapping a few pictures, you’ll want to dive in.
“Halloween looks a little different this year, and so do our donuts. While our classic bakery offering has plenty of crave-worthy treats, we’re excited to show our spicy side with a donut that packs a touch of heat with something sweet and can be enjoyed any time of day,” Jill Nelson, vice president, marketing strategy at Dunkin’, said in a press release. “With our scary-good lineup of the Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut, Halloween DIY Dunkin’ Donut Decoration Kits, and Fan-favorite Spider Donut, Dunkin’ is here to help our guests keep their Halloween spirit alive this season.”
You can find the donuts and donut kit at participating Dunkin’ locations for a limited time while supplies last. Since Halloween is on a Saturday this year, that means you have no excuse but to treat yourself all day long!
