Duke vs. Louisville: Schedule, odds, injury news and how to watch Saturday's game
One of the biggest matchups during Week 9 of the college football season will be between the No. 21 Duke Blue Devils and the No. 18 Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, two of the teams near the top of ACC standings.
Louisville (6-1 overall, 3-1 ACC) stands in second place in the conference behind only undefeated No. 4 Florida State. The Cardinals suffered their first loss of the season in Week 7 at Pitt, 38-21, before going into their Week 8 bye. Quarterback Jack Plummer was 29-52 passing with 350 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Duke (5-2 overall, 2-1 ACC) took its second loss of the season against the Seminoles, who stand alone atop the ACC, 38-20. Quarterback Riley Leonard completed seven of 16 pass attempts with 69 yards an an interception before having to depart the game in the third quarter after re-injuring his ankle.

Leonard had sat out the Blue Devils' previous game against N.C. State after injuring his ankle on the final play against Notre Dame a week prior. The quarterback ran up and down the sidelines with the hope to eventually return to the game against Florida State, but he ultimately remained on the bench.
"He wanted to come back in," Duke coach Mike Elko said after the game. "He was begging me on the sideline to come back in. I didn't feel comfortable with where he was health-wise to bring him back and so we didn't do it."
Backup quarterback Henry Belin IV entered the game after Leonard's injury and finished the game. He was 1-6 on pass attempts for seven yards.
Belin would presumably start vs. Louisville if Leonard is unable to go.
