Drew Timme, Alex Antetokounmpo, Glenn Robinson III headline the Wisconsin Herd camp roster

The Milwaukee Bucks' G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, announced its 18-person training camp roster Monday, and it's headlined by some familiar names.

The Oshkosh-based club will bring back former Dominican High School star Alex Antetokounmpo, who played 32 games for the Herd last season. The Herd also has veteran Glenn Robinson III on the camp roster. Robinson III, a seven-year NBA veteran, is the son of former Bucks all-star Glenn Robinson and is trying to get back in the league after last playing in 2021.

Former Bucks player Beno Udrih is the new head coach of the Herd.

Drew Timme is back

Former Gonzaga star Drew Timme, who signed a training camp deal with the Bucks after going undrafted, is getting another shot with the Herd. Timme was cut during camp but appeared in all four summer league games and two preseason contests. He helped the Bucks win their preseason opener against Chicago with a late put-back.

He's joined on the Herd camp roster by Jazian Gortman, who is also an undrafted rookie the Bucks brought to camp. The point guard saw only brief minutes in one preseason game for the Bucks.

Rest of the Wisconsin Herd training camp roster

Along with the Bucks' three two-way players of Lindell Wigginton, TyTy Washington Jr. and Marques Bolden, the rest of the Herd training camp roster is as follows:

  • Yor Anei, center

  • Ibou Badji, center

  • Kihei Clark, guard

  • Edward Gray, guard

  • Hassane Gueye, forward

  • Elijah Hughes, forward

  • Iverson Molinar, guard

  • Sam Peek, guard

  • Anthony Tarke, forward

Anei, Gray, Thompson Jr. and Peek were invited to camp after local tryouts.
