The New York Jets (4-6) have decided to bench their starting quarterback Zach Wilson for the upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins (7-3) at MetLife Stadium, following three consecutive losses. Tim Boyle will now be the starting quarterback for the Jets.

The decision was made to move to Boyle after Wilson's poor performance in the 32-6 loss to the Buffalo Bills, where he only completed seven of his 15 passes for 81 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. Boyle went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft and Trevor Siemian has been promoted from the practice squad and will serve as Boyle's backup in Week 12. Siemian joined the Jets two weeks after Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles Tendon in Week 1, but has been on the practice squad until now.

On the other hand, the Miami Dolphins are heading into the Friday off a win, defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 20-13 in Week 11. Jalen Ramsey made a game-winning interception with 22 seconds left in the endzone. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa played a great game, completing 28 of 39 passes for 325 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception against the Raiders.
