Dolphins practice report: Jaylen Waddle leaves chippy workout vs. Falcons early

MIAMI GARDENS -- Dolphins receiver Jaylen Waddle left Wednesday's practice early as he was tended to by Mike McDaniel and trainers.

Waddle was seen holding his side, but he walked off without help.

No further information was immediately available.

Only a day earlier, Waddle had talked about the friendly competition he has with fellow receiver Tyreek Hill.

McDaniel said it's "really cool" that Hill and Waddle have created their own little teams of receivers. The two teams are competing with one another in training camp, although Waddle wouldn't reveal which team is leading the standings.

“You ask him that," Waddle said. "I can’t tell you who’s on my team, just know we’ve got some steppas on there. ... Our team’s stacked. Loaded. I’m not going to lie, like, GM crazy."
