The Miami Dolphins will have to wait another week, at least, to see Will Fuller V suit up.

Fuller, who sat out Week 1 as he finished serving a six-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, won’t play in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills.

Fuller didn’t practice Friday and won’t play Sunday due to a personal issue, Dolphins coach Brian Flores told Miami media.

No details given for Will Fuller's absence

Flores declined to say if Fuller will be back this season, via Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, which indicates this might not be a one-week absence.

“I respect his privacy. ... We support Will,” Flores said, via the AP.

“Things arise in our lives. That’s kind of what he’s dealing with right now.”

Fuller, a former first-round pick, was having a big season for the Houston Texans last year before his suspension. He signed a one-year deal worth more than $10 million with the Dolphins, despite Miami knowing he wouldn't be available in Week 1. That speaks to his talent level.

As long as Fuller is gone from the team, that leaves a hole in the offense. In his five seasons with the Texans he had become a dangerous deep threat, then last season without DeAndre Hopkins on the Texans anymore Fuller became an all-around threat. He had 879 yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games.

Now the Dolphins will wonder when they might see one of their big free-agent additions on the field.
