Dolphins coming to town: What Jaguars fans need to know for the only home preseason game

Jaguars fans return to EverBank Stadium for the first time since Jan. 14 when the team rallied from a 27-0 deficit to beat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-30 in a playoff game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have had mobile ticketing since 2020.

Add mobile parking to the mix.

Saturday's preseason game against the Miami Dolphins (7 p.m., CBS-47) at EverBank Stadium will include mobile parking passes for all stadium-owned lots. Fans who attended any of the training camp practices at the Miller Electric Center have already been through the experience but that was a capacity of 2,000.

More than 10 times that number are expected to attend the final preseason game and that will require a bit of planning: fans should have their mobile parking pass downloaded onto their smartphone wallet before leaving home, have the parking pass on their main screen before getting to their gate, and be ready to have it scanned.

Holz adds some sizzle: Jaguars passing-game coordinator Nick Holz adds new perspective to team's offense

To access tickets and parking passes, download the official Jaguars Mobile App, click "more" in the lower right-hand corner, then click on "tickets and parking."

Fans should still have some patience with those who may be struggling with the process. That and construction going on around the stadium area are good reasons to leave early.

Stadium parking lots will open at 3 p.m. The Fanatics Pro Shop, located at the Miller Center, also will open at 3 p.m.

Jags donate youth tickets

To celebrate Play Football Month and the youth football community, the team donated 3,500 game tickets to local youth and high school football teams. The Jaguars PREP 5v5 Flag Regional Tournament winners will be recognized pre-game in the south endzone and the American flag will be held by the Championship teams of the Jaguars PREP Nike 11-On Tournament during the national anthem.

There will be a girls flag football scrimmage between Mandarin High School and Fletcher High School during halftime of the game as part of the NFL and Nike Kick Off Classic Collaboration.

First Duuuval!

The first "Duuuval!" of the season will be delivered by Gabrielle “Gaby” Rourke, an Atlantic Coast High School student who plays soccer, volleyball, softball, flag football and is a kicker on the varsity football team. She is currently the only female athlete playing varsity football in Duval County.

Game day patriotism

The Star-Spangled Banner will be performed by Shamarria Bowles, 19 and a recent graduate of Lake City Columbia High School. She is currently a student at Florida Gateway College and on the praise team at New Beginning Restoration Church.

The colors for the game will be presented by members of the North Florida Joint Service Color Guard.

Machinist Mate First Class Shannon Wallace will be honored as the Bell Ringer. She enlisted in the United States Navy in 2016 and served onboard USS Bainbridge (DDG 96), homeported in Norfolk VA, from 2016-2018, where she earned her Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist Qualification and was rated to Machinist Mate.
