The Jackrabbits (14-0) defeated UAlbany in the semifinals to reach the championship game after clinching a first-round bye and the top overall seed in the FCS playoffs. The second-ranked Griz (13-1) earned a double-overtime 31-29 win over North Dakota State in the semifinals.
