Does the Celtics’ schedule help or hinder the chances of Banner 18?

Kristaps Porzingis is the latest member of the Boston Celtics roster to be deemed an injury risk for the team. As such, fans eagerly awaited the new NBA schedule on Aug. 17 to get a feel for the difficult stretches ahead and when players might miss games due to load management.

In the latest episode of the “Green With Envy” podcast, the hosts dissect the Celtics’ 2023-24 schedule and try to pinpoint the most important stretches. From West Coast road trips to multiple games in a short time span, the Celtics will have their fair share of difficult periods.

Head coach Joe Mazzulla will need to get creative with his rotations if he wants to keep his stars fresh for the inevitable deep postseason run ahead. Al Horford will likely sit out the second night of back-to-backs for the second straight season, while a decision needs to be made on Robert Williams‘ role and whether he should continue coming off the bench.
