Alabama softball travels to Auburn for its regular season SEC series finale this weekend.
The Crimson Tide are coming off a series loss vs. Tennessee, where they dropped the first two games but won the series finale 1-0. They enter the series vs. Auburn ranked No. 17 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll and No. 16 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball rankings.
Alabama is facing an Auburn team that sits at 25-17-1 on the season and 7-14 in conference play. The Tigers are coming off a series vs. Ole Miss, where they won the series opener in 11 innings but dropped the next two games.
Alabama has an opportunity to finish at .500 in conference play with a series sweep over Auburn. In conference standings, the Crimson Tide sit in the No. 9 spot while the Tigers sit at No. 12.
