Sports Home Did Jarvis Landry call out Baker Mayfield for his lack of production?
While neither wide receiver Jarvis Landry nor quarterback Baker Mayfield are members of the Cleveland Browns any longer, they remain in the news. After someone on Twitter called out Landry for his lack of production over the past three seasons, the former Pro Bowl wide receiver snapped back with his own personal accomplishments. And then added a quip at the end:
“…if you watched my games… you would know [it] wasn’t solely because of me!!”
There is no question the play of Mayfield hamstrung the offense in 2021 and that the Browns were right to move off of him for Deshaun Watson. However, Landry is not blameless either as he has certainly lost a step at this stage of his career.
