Devin Booker shows Nike signature shoe, Phoenix Suns working on team chemistry in IG posts

Devin Booker is revealing more than his new Nike signature shoe that's set to release next year in a couple of recent Instagram posts.

The two videos show Booker playing pickup games with his Phoenix Suns teammates old, recent and new.

The most recent post shows Booker at USC working out with new teammate Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant, who joined the team last season via blockbuster trade before the Feb. 9 deadline, for sure.

It also appears Deandre Ayton, Ish Wainright and new Suns big Drew Eubanks are at USC as well.

Hard to tell on each one because the video has quick clips and sped up, but Wainright has a tattoo on his arm that looked familiar in the video and Eubanks has sported a box haircut.

There's a player who has the same look who laps fives with Booker. The Suns have practiced at Southern Cal during the season in recent years when playing the Los Angeles Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers.

Then the video fast forwards to Booker arriving at UCLA where one can clearly see Durant and Beal getting up shots. The Suns traded for Beal in the offseason in dealing Chris Paul to the Washington Wizards.

That video coincides with a tweet in which new Suns big Bol Bol, Ayton, Booker, Durant and Beal are leaving the gym at UCLA with two Suns security guys and new assistant coach Miles Simon.

So what does it all mean?

One, Booker is teasing his shoe as he and Jamal Crawford are seen discussing the sneaker. Crawford played one season with the Suns in 2018-19.

Two, the orange look is definitely eye catching.

Three, the Suns have been getting together on their own preparing for the season.

Durant and Booker have been hanging out seemingly all summer at parties, on trips, and in various gyms, but now there's more footage of their teammates playing pickup games together, too.

The Suns start training camp next month, but some of their players have clearly been getting a head start on building chemistry. Phoenix opens the 2023-24 regular season Oct. 24 at Golden State.
