Detroit Tigers call up former Michigan State LHP Anthony Misiewicz
The Detroit Tigers had acquired Anthony Misiewicz from the Arizona Diamondbacks just over a week ago and now the former Spartan is being called up to the Major Leagues.
(2/2) The Tigers have announced the following roster moves:
*Recalled LHP Anthony Misiewicz from Triple A Toledo.
*Reinstated RHP Matt Manning from the 60-day injured list— Tigers PR (@DetroitTigersPR) June 27, 2023
Misiewicz was a pitcher for Michigan State from 2013-2015 before making the move to professional baseball, where he has had a successful 8 year career with the last four being in the major leagues.
