Detroit Lions make statement, their fans just as loud during, after win at Lambeau Field

Detroit Lions fans were the final ones standing in Lambeau field chanting "Let's Go Lions" as Green Bay Packers fans filed out of the stadium.

The loud group of Detroit faithful that made the trip to Wisconsin were rewarded with a great Lions performance in their 34-20 win. Detroit dominated the first half and jumped out to a 27-3 lead that proved to be insurmountable despite a comeback attempt from the Packers.

By the time the postgame show on Amazon Prime was getting into full swing, only Lions fans remained, and they made themselves heard on national TV.

Lions fans are getting used to the new dominance over the Packers, who historically has Detroit's number. The Lions have now won four straight games over their rival under Dan Campbell, perhaps the biggest sign of a new era.

Running back David Montgomery received lots of praise for his bellcow performance just four days after missing a game with a thigh injury. Montgomery carried the ball a career-high 32 times for 121 yards and three touchdowns serving as the hub of the Lions offensive engine.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson, the vocal leader on defense who is sidelined with a torn pectoral, chimed in to celebrate the victory from home with the fans.
