Detroit Lions open a 6-point favorite in NFC divisional round vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Detroit Lions fans might want to knock on wood but, for the second consecutive week, they enter Sunday's playoff showdown as the favorites.

The Lions enter their NFC Divisional Round game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the 6-point favorite, according to multiple sportsbooks. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. at Ford Field.

Baker Mayfield led Tampa Bay (9-8 regular season) to a 32-9 wild-card win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, setting up the showdown with the Lions (12-5). The Dalls Cowboys, the No. 2 seed in the NFC, fell 48-32 to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, destroying the possibility of Cowboys-Lions rematch.

The Lions were 3-point favorites against the Los Angeles Rams; though they won 24-23, they didn't cover the spread.

Ticket prices are ranging from $500 to more than $2,000 for Lions-Bucs, but some are going for more than $4,000 or even $12,000.

The winner of Lions-Buccaneers reaches the NFC Championship Game to play either the San Francisco 49ers or the Green Bay Packers.
