Rancho Mirage native and Palm Desert grad Desirae Krawczyk is back in the winner's circle as she and her partner Demi Schuurs took home the title Saturday in a tune-up tennis tournament before Wimbledon.

The women's doubles tandem won the Eastbourne International on Saturday in the United Kingdom, topping Nicole Melichar-Martines and Ellen Perez 6-4, 6-2 in the championship match. They did not drop a set throughout the event, and each took home $40,100.

The victory was the 10th women's doubles title in Krawczyk's career to go with four mixed doubles titles.

Krawczyk, now 29, will team with Schuurs at Wimbledon. The talented duo is the fifth-seed, and they will play their first match Wednesday. Krawczyk will be looking for her first women's doubles Grand Slam title. Her best finish at Wimbledon is a trip to the semifinals.

In mixed doubles, Krawczyk will be going for a remarkable Wimbledon three-peat, having taken home the title with partner Neal Skupski in 2021 and 2022. The mixed doubles draw for this year's Wimbledon will be revealed on Wednesday. She has four Grand Slam mixed doubles titles in all, having also won the French Open and U.S. Open in 2021.
