Delle Donne top vote-getter for WNBA All-Star Game

The WNBA announced its starters for the 2013 All-Star game Thursday.

Chicago rookie Elena Delle Donne received the most votes with 35,646, becoming the first rookie to lead the league's All-Star voting.

"I'm speechless about it, it's incredible to come in as a rookie and know I have that many fans is so humbling and awesome," Delle Donne said. "I'll try to continue to do them proud."

The other East starters will be Chicago's Epiphanny Prince, New York's Cappie Pondexter, Indiana's Tamika Catchings and Atlanta's Angel McCoughtry.

The West starters will be Los Angeles' Candace Parker -- the top vote getter in the West -- Minnesota's Seimone Augustus and Maya Moore and Phoenix's Diana Taurasi and Brittney Griner.

Connecticut will host the game July 27, with the reserves to be announced at a later date.
