Crestline's Engler earns first team All-Northwest District softball honors in Division IV
When you casually bat .627 with, 37 hits, 36 runs, 32 RBIs, 32 stolen bases, a .686 on-base percentage, a .971 fielding percentage and just two strikeouts all season, you're going to get recognized.
After receiving Mid-Buckeye Conference Player of the Year honors, Crestline senior Maddie Engler was the area's lone representative on the All-Northwest District teams in Division IV garnering first team honors as an outfielder.
She's in the same company as several girls from a state runner-up Hopewell-Loudon team, multiple from Parkway's state semifinalist squad, along with numerous from teams that made it to regionals.
