Cowboys' Jones eager for hearing with Goodell on Monday

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday that his hearing with commissioner Roger Goodell regarding Jones' payment of reimbursement fees to the league will be held Monday in Palm Beach, Fla.

Jones said he is looking forward to the meeting, which will be held under oath and include other owners.

Jones declined further comment on the hearing.

The NFL requested that Jones repay more than $2 million in legal fees to cover costs incurred by teams when he tried to block an extension for Goodell and during the defense of Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, according to multiple reports.

There is no timetable for when Goodell will rule on the matter following Monday's meeting.
