Oh boy, where did the weekend go? Hopefully everyone had a chance to spend time with their families this weekend and were rewarded by having to use very little headache-medication.

We are getting closer to spring; making everyone a bit happier yet giving them plenty of tasks to complete in and around the house. Although plenty of work and play awaited the world, plenty still took time out of their busy schedule to check out Friday’s questions.

Obviously this article would be nothing without our readers and for that we at cover32 thank everyone.

For readers new to this article; on Friday, cover32 comes up with five questions and on Monday the answers are revealed.

Here are the answers to the Trivia Blitz from Friday, February 17th:

Question One

1. Which quarterback finished the 2016 season first in the AFC in passing yards?

With 4,386 yards passing, Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers finished first in the AFC and fifth in the NFL.

Question Two

2. Who is the top non-kicker in NFL scoring for the 2016 season?

With 20 total touchdowns and one two-point-conversion, David Johnson of the Arizona Cardinals tied Mason Crosby for 14th in the NFL with 122 points.

Question Three

3. What was the name of the player that had the most sacks among rookies in the 2016 season?

The easiest of the questions for this week is answered with none other than NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Joey Bosa of the San Diego Chargers.

Question Four

4. Among NFL running backs with 100 or more attempts, who lead the league with an astounding 5.7 yards per attempt average?

This was meant to be a tricky question; Mike Gillislee of the Buffalo Bills only attempted 101 rushes but did amass 5.7 yards per carry with them.

Question Five

5. “I was drafted 15th overall in a NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. This past season, I racked up seven sacks for my playoff-bound team and was tied atop the leader board with six forced-fumbles. Who am I?”

“I am none other than the very nice edition to the Oakland Raiders, Bruce Irvin.”

Finish

We did receive a valiant last-second-effort by Cameron from Waldorf, Maryland on Yahoo where they answered four out of five correctly; only missing the Gillislee answer is pretty decent. A big thank you to all that read weekly and be sure to check out this week’s Trivia Blitz on Friday.

Be sure to post your guesses in the comment sections within the correct time frame as we may soon be giving out prizes to correct answers. Do not get too excited, it will probably be partially used gift cards from our writer’s wallets or something but you never know unless you try.
