Columbia area spring sports Week 10 top performers: Ashleia Coble throws a no hitter

It's Week 10 of the high school spring season and the TSSAA playoffs are upon us. Here are the top performers for high school baseball, softball and soccer in the Columbia area.

SATURDAY

Baseball

Jack Beck, Columbia Central: Beck went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, a run and a stolen base in a 5-4 win over Summit in extra innings.

Lane Sharp, Columbia Central: Sharp struck out eight batters in 4.1 innings pitched, allowing three hits and one earned run.

Aiden Saum, Columbia Central: Saum was 2-for-5 with two RBIs and two stolen bases.

Alex Bedford, Lawrence County: Bedford was 2-for-3 with a double and three runs in a 13-1 win over DeKalb County. He was also 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in an 8-6 loss to Upperman.

Isaiah Bentley, Lawrence County: Bentley struck out eight batters in five innings pitched, allowing two hits and one earned run. He was also 1-for-3 with a run.

TJ Gobble, Lawrence County: Gobble went 2-for-3 with a run and four RBIs.

Jayden Aaron, Loretto: Aaron was 4-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and five RBIs in an 11-1 win over Summertown.

Jackson Traglia, Loretto: Traglia went 2-for-2 with a double, two runs, two RBIs and a stolen base.

Carter Daniel, Loretto: Daniel pitched six innings, striking out six batters while allowing five hits and one earned run.

Jameson Andrews, Richland: Andrews was 2-for-3 with a triple, a double, three runs and an RBI in a 14-0 win over Cornersville.

Bryce Miller, Richland: Miller was 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs, two RBIs and a stolen base.

Carter Edwards, Richland: Edwards went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBIs and three stolen bases.

Russ Lambert, Summit: Lambert was 4-for-7 with a double, run, RBI and stolen base in a 5-4 loss to Columbia.

Teegan O'Day, Summit: O'Day pitched 4.1 innings, striking out four while allowing just one hit and no earned runs.

Landon Rowe, Summit: Rowe went 1-for-5 with a double, run, RBI and a stolen base.

Brennan Targgart, Zion Christian: Targgart was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and three stolen bases in a 14-8 loss in the TSIAA state championship.

Softball

Saniya Hunter, Summit: Hunter went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and two total runs in a 6-3 win over Ravenwood.

Selah Dugan, Summit: Dugan was 2-for-3 with a run, RBI and stolen base.

Anne Marie Richards, Summit: Richards was 3-for-5 with a home run and RBI in a 12-8 loss to Nolensville.

Ashlyn Easley, Summit: Easley was 2-for-5 with a double, three runs and two RBIs.

Audrey Cathey, Summit: Cathey was 1-for-4 with a home run and RBI.

Pearl Davis, Zion Christian: Davis went 2-for-2 with a home run, five RBIs and an additional run an in 11-0 win as Zion won its third straight TSIAA state title.

Ashleia Coble, Zion Christian: Coble pitched 4.2 innings, striking out 11 batters while allowing two hits and no runs.

Raleigh Blanks, Zion Christian: Blanks went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run.

FRIDAY

Baseball

Burton Moore, Columbia Central: Moore struck out 10 batters in 5.2 innings pitched, allowing five hits and three earned runs in a 4-1 loss to Nolensville.

Clint Seymore, Loretto: Seymore was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs in a 10-0 win over Cannon County. He also pitched five innings, striking out six while allowing two hits and no runs.

Miles Moore, Loretto: Moore went 2-for-2 with a double, run and three RBIs.

Jameson Andrews, Richland: Andrews was 1-for-3 with a double, RBI, stolen base and two runs in a 17-2 win over Fayetteville.

Tucker Mayo, Richland: Mayo was 1-for-2 with a double, a stolen base and two runs.

Carter Edwards, Richland: Edwards went 2-for-4 with a run, three RBIs and a stolen base.

Sam Sloan, Summit: Sloan was 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs in a 13-5 loss to Lincoln County.

Russ Lambert, Summit: Lambert was 2-for-3 with a double, run and RBI.

Softball

Logan Riebe, Independence: Riebe went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBIs in a 3-2 loss to Ravenwood.

Brylie Waechter, Independence: Waechter pitched a complete game, striking out six while allowing four hits and no earned runs.

Adreanna Wilkinson, Summertown: Wilkinson pitched 6.1 innings, striking out seven while allowing four hits and two earned runs in a 3-2 win over Loretto.

THURSDAY

Baseball

CJ Durrough, Columbia Academy: Durrough was 3-for-4 with a double, run and three RBIs in an 8-4 win over Friendship Christian.

Gunner Skelton, Columbia Academy: Skelton was 2-for-4 with a double and RBI. He also pitched a complete game with 13 strikeouts, while allowing eight hits and four earned runs.

Alex Bedford, Lawrence County: Bedford went 2-for-3 with a run and stolen base in a 5-3 loss to Upperman.

Softball

Brylie Waechter, Independence: Waechter pitched a complete game, striking out nine batters while allowing three hits and no runs in a 4-0 win over Centennial to stay alive in the playoffs.

Aubrey Ezell, Loretto: Ezell went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run and three RBIs in a win over Mt. Pleasant.

Adisen Buie, Loretto: Buie was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Kiersten Randell, Loretto: Randell was 2-for-4 with a run and three RBIs.

Ava Shrader, Richland: Shrader was 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs in a 3-0 win over Cornersville. She also pitched a complete game, striking out five while giving up three hits and no runs.

Tarek Scherr, Summit: Scherr went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 7-2 loss to Nolensville.

Ashleia Coble, Zion Christian: Coble pitched a second consecutive no hitter, striking out 13 batters in five innings and walking none in a 13-0 win over Christian Community.

Leighla Rains, Zion Christian: Rains was 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs, three total runs and a stolen base.

Elizabeth Wood, Zion Christian: Wood was 2-for-3 with a triple, run and two RBIs.

Marleigh McWilliams, Zion Christian: McWilliams went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run and two RBIs.

Jacob Woodward, Columbia Academy: Woodward picthed 5.1 innings, striking out eight batters while allowing four hits and one earned run.

Jacob Hill, Columbia Academy: Hill pitched 5.2 innings, striking out five batters while giving up one hit and no runs.

Aiden Britton, Summit: Britton was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in a 12-6 loss to Nolensville

Ben Bawcum, Summit: Bawcum went 1-for-4 with a double, run and two RBIs.

Christian Huntzinger, Zion Christian: Huntzinger struck out six batters in three innings pitched, allowing one hit and no runs.

Austin Surratt, Zion Christian: Surratt was 1-for-2 with a run, RBI and stolen base.

Softball

Saviya Morgan, Columbia Central: Morgan went 3-for-3 with a run and three stolen bases in a 3-2 win over Warren County. She broke the Tennessee high school softball state record for most stolen bases in a single season with 74.

Bailey Lovell, Columbia Central: Lovell pitched a complete game, striking out eight batters while allowing one hit and one earned run.

Phynlee Keeling, Culleoka: Keeling went 4-for-5 with a triple and a run in a 9-2 win over Santa Fe. She also pitched a complete game, striking out 13 batters while allowing one hit and no earned runs.

Briley Boles, Culleoka: Boles was 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and five RBIs.

Piper Johnson, Independence: Johnson went 2-for-4 with a home run and RBI in a 4-2 win over Page.

Brylie Waechter, Independence: Waechter was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. She also pitched a complete game, striking out seven batters while allowing eight hits and no earned runs.

Ava Shrader, Richland: Shrader struck out 10 batters in seven innings pitched, allowing one hit and one earned run in a 5-1 win over Cornersville.

Katelyn Bass, Richland: Bass was 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Audrey Cathey, Summit: Cathey was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in a 10-1 win over Ravenwood.

Bella Uppinghouse, Summit: Uppinghouse was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. She also pitched a complete game, striking out two while allowing five hits and no earned runs.

Soccer

Aidan Brown, Zion Christian: Brown had two goals and an assist as Zion Christian won 3-2 to advance to the TSIAA state championship.

Logan Abbott, Zion Christian: Abbott had seven saves in goal in the win.

MONDAY

Briar Helton, Columbia Academy: Helton went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in a 6-3 win over Providence Christian Academy.

Jacob Woodward, Columbia Academy: Woodward was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs.

Konner Bowden, Columbia Central: Bowden went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, two RBIs and three total runs in a 10-0 win over Spring Hill.

Lane Sharp, Columbia Central: Sharp pitched a complete game, striking out nine batters while allowing one hit and no runs.

Evan Wolaver, Columbia Central: Wolaver was 2-for-3 with a double, run and RBI.

Aubrey Ezell, Loretto: Ezell was 2-for-3 with a triple, four RBIs and a run in a 10-0 win over Lewis County.

Chelsea Attkisson, Loretto: Attkisson was 3-for-4 with a run and RBI.

Mallory Corbin, Loretto: Corbin struck out five batters in five innings pitched, allowing three hits and no runs.

Ava Shrader, Richland: Shrader pitched a complete game, striking out eight while allowing one hit and no runs in a 10-0 win over Santa Fe. She also was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Preslee Crabtree, Richland: Crabtree was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs.

Katelyn Bass, Richland: Bass went 1-for-3 with a double, two runs, two RBIs and a stolen base.

Soccer

Noah Beaman, Zion Christian: Beaman scored a brace as Zion Christian beat Lighthouse 4-0.

Deacon Phelan, Zion Christian: Phelan had a goal and two assists in the win.
