Colts’ Zaire Franklin on brawl involving Eagles’ Jason Kelce: He snuck me, I wasn’t looking

The Colts and Eagles’ joint practice at the NovaCare Complex ended early after a massive brawl involving both teams.

According to multiple reports, All-Pro center Jason Kelce took offense to a late hit from Zaire Franklin on running back Kenneth Gainwell.

Cam Jurgens stated that Kelce had enough, and took running from about 50 yards before he flattened Franklin, causing both teams to engage in fistacuffs.

Franklin, a Colts linebacker, and Philadelphia native, had a different view of what started the brawl.

Kelce addressed the media after practice, taking blame and holding himself accountable for losing control of his emotions.

The teams will meet again on Thursday night in a preseason game featuring rookies and critical backups.
