Colts sign G Zack Bailey to the practice squad

The Indianapolis Colts signed guard Zack Bailey to the practice squad and released offensive tackle Anthony Coyle from the practice squad, the team announced Friday.

Bailey initially joined the league as an undrafted rookie free agent signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the 2019 NFL draft. He spent most of his rookie season in the injured reserve list while spending time on the practice squads of Tampa Bay and the Minnesota Vikings in 2020.

In other roster news, the Colts protected practice squad kicker Michael Badgley and will have to elevate him for the Week 6 game against the Houston Texans with Rodrigo Blankenship having been ruled out with a hip injury.
