Colts host OT Dennis Kelly for free-agent visit

The Indianapolis Colts hosted free-agent offensive tackle Dennis Kelly on a visit Tuesday, per the league’s transaction wire.

A fifth-round pick with the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2012 NFL draft, Kelly spent four seasons in Philly before joining the Tennessee Titans (2016-2020) and Green Bay Packers (2021).

Kelly, 32, has appeared in 114 career games while making 51 starts at both right and left tackle. He has been used mostly as a swing tackle throughout his career.

The Colts are giving Matt Pryor a shot at earning the starting left tackle job, and there’s still a chance they use some high draft capital on a tackle if they believe he could potentially be the future.

But adding a veteran like Kelly who has experience playing both side of the line would be valuable considering the depth they currently have.
