What Colorado players and coaches are saying heading into Friday’s showdown with Stanford
Very few outsiders had Colorado sitting 4-2 at this point of the season. The Buffs are only two wins away from securing a bowl game and they have an excellent opportunity to cut that number in half on Friday night when they host the one-win Stanford Cardinal.
For head coach Deion Sanders, his staff and the players, their focus is on putting together four consecutive dominant quarters of football. The Buffs have yet to play a well-rounded game in all three phases but once they do so, CU will be that much more difficult to beat.
