Colorado defensive end Taijh Alston declaring for NFL draft

Following his final collegiate season, Colorado defensive end Taijh Alston revealed on Friday that he’s declaring for the 2024 NFL draft.

Alston transferred to Colorado from West Virginia and became a role player for the Buffs, playing in 10 games while accumulating 23 total tackles, five TFLs and 2.5 sacks. His best game of the year came against Nebraska, as he recorded three tackles and 1.5 sacks on the day.

At West Virginia, Alston played in 28 games with 56 total tackles, 15 TFLs, eight sacks, four forced fumbles. He was also an honorable mention for the 2021 Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, he has the size to play EDGE in the NFL, but pre-draft combines will be crucial for Alston as he looks to turn pro.
