College Soccer: Adrian women get non-league victory
ADRIAN — The Adrian College women's soccer team picked up a non-conference win Sunday as it beat Wooster, 2-1.
The Bulldogs (2-1-2) trailed Wooster 1-0 in the 12th minute, but took a 2-1 lead into the half after goals in the 28th and 29th minutes.
Both defenses stepped up in the second half as neither allowed another goal the rest of the way.
Adrian outshot Wooster 8-6 and 4-3 on goal.

Ali Alamdari, Adrian: Wooster has become a game that we always look forward to on the schedule. It's always a hard-fought physical game that resembles the intensity of a conference matchup. We've been out-possessing and out-shooting opponents in every game this year, but today we had that next level of execution in the moments that defined the result. We had to constantly push through the adversity that a match like this brings, and in the end it's a well-deserved win against a quality opponent.

MEN'S SOCCER
Shawnee State 7, Siena Heights 2
PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — The Saints fell to 2-2 on the season after as a strong Shawnee State team dominated the second half.
Shawnee State went up 2-0 in the 22nd minute, but SHU would score two of the next three goals to make it a 3-2 game at the half.
Shawnee State rolled in the second half to the tune of four goals.
