Coco Gauff is now highest paid female athlete in the world. Here's how much she makes

Coco Gauff put together a very impressive 2023 - including winning the U.S. Open - and she now has another honor:

The Delray Beach resident is the highest paid female athlete in the world, according to Sportico, with $22.7 million, including $16 million from off-the-court earnings.

Gauff, 19, has endorsement deals with Ray Ban and Meta for their new smart glasses, Bose, UPS, Barilla and Baker Tilly, among other brands. She remains part of the New Balance team, a deal she signed when she was 14.

Last year, Gauff was No. 8 on Sportico’s list with an estimated $7.7 million in combined earnings.

On the court, Gauff, currently ranked No. 3 in the world, had a very good year. Besides taking home the championship at the U.S. Open, she captured 3 other singles championships.

For years, the Williams sisters - Serena and Venus, who have homes in Palm Beach Gardens - were regular residents of this list. But Serena has retired from tennis and Venus is playing a limited schedule while battling various ailments.

Another Palm Beach County resident - fellow tennis star Jessica Pegula - is eighth on the list with $9 million in earnings, including $3 million in endorsements.
