Clippers at Magic: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard appear set to return on Friday in Orlando against the Magic, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 8:00 p.m. ET and can be seen on Fox Sports Prime Ticket and Fox Sports Florida.

The Clippers have been without the star duo of George and Leonard, who missed two games due to the NBA’s health and safety protocol. Los Angeles went 1-1 on the road during that span, but after it was reported that both players could potentially return on Friday, they were both left off the Clippers’ injury report that was released this afternoon. The Magic have lost three of four, and nine of their last 11 games.

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Clippers -6.5

  • Money line: Clippers -250 / Magic +200

  • Over-under: 218.5

Advice and prediction

Early bettors got incredible value on the Clippers here, as the line opened with LA as an underdog but has shifted significantly with the omission of George and Leonard from the injury report. The Magic just lost by 14 at home against the lowly Kings, and now have to face one of the best teams in the NBA.

This game shouldn’t be particularly close. I’d double up on Clippers -6.5 and Clippers -3.5 first half, and also consider an alternate spread bet. You can get Clippers -9.5 at a +155 payout at BetMGM, which means you’ll collect $155 in winnings on a $100 bet.

Prediction: Clippers 115, Magic 96
