Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 13 game

Get ready to spend "Monday Night Football" in "DUUUVAL" as the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3) host the Cincinnati Bengals (5-6) to close out Week 13.

In the first game without Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati offense struggled against a mighty Pittsburgh Steelers defense while the defense was shredded in a 16-10 loss. The Bengals have now lost three straight, and without their franchise quarterback for the rest of the season, playoff hopes are fading away for a team that had hopes of getting back to the Super Bowl.

The AFC South division lead still belongs to Jacksonville after the Jaguars were able to avenge an early season loss to the Houston Texans by beating them in a close road victory. Trevor Lawrence was outstanding and the defense did just enough to stop C.J. Stroud, and now Jacksonville is looking at a chance to take the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Lorenzo Reyes: Jaguars 23, Bengals 17

Jacksonville should win this game. It has the better defense and a clear advantage at quarterback. The problem is that the Jaguars stumble in high-leverage situations, overthinking key play calls and opting for questionable decisions inside the two-minute drill. This line is a bit too rich for me.

Tyler Dragon: Jaguars 27, Bengals 17

As expected, life without Joe Burrow has not gone well for the Bengals. Cincinnati’s losing streak continues this week. The Jaguars are in contention for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Jaguars linebacker Foyesade Oluokun is top five in the NFL in tackles and edge rusher Josh Allen is top five in the league in sacks.

Safid Deen: Jaguars 27, Bengals 13

Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars are rolling with an 8-3 record and a huge win over the Texans last week. They should sail smoothly against the Bengals without Joe Burrow.

Victoria Hernandez: Jaguars 27, Bengals 17

The Bengals are not the same team without Joe Burrow and have dropped three straight. The Jaguars have impressed with seven wins in eight games. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence continues to utilize the tools at his disposal. They shouldn’t have a problem excelling in this matchup.

Jordan Mendoza: Jaguars 30, Bengals 17

Jacksonville has made it a habit of soundly beating bad teams, and playing against a Joe Burrow-less Bengals team giving them another opportunity for a big win. In a primetime home game, the Jaguars cruise to a win with the defense making life tough for Jake Browning for a two-score victory.
