Cincinnati Bengals take a dive on NFL power rankings after loss to Texans
The Cincinnati Bengals suffered a tough last-second loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday and were kicked down the NFL power rankings as a result.
Three popular outlets still list the Bengals in their top 10. Cincinnati (5-4) travels this week to play a Thursday night primetime game against the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens (7-3).
Here's where the Bengals rank on NFL power rankings going into Week 11.
USA TODAY NFL power rankings: No. 10 (🔻4)
The Bengals dropped four slots from last week's No. 6 ranking to this week's No. 10 spot.
"Tough way to lose your four-game winning streak," USA TODAY's Nate Davis writes. "Especially when you wonder if a healthy Tee Higgins catches the likely game-winning TD pass that Tyler Boyd dropped in the end zone

ESPN NFL power rankings: No. 10 (🔻3)
Cincinnati's "margin for error is slim" as the team heads into a Thursday night game against the Ravens, ESPN reports. The Bengals clocked in at No. 10 this week, compared to No. 7 in Week 10.
According to the outlet, the Bengals have a 33.8% chance to make the playoffs.

Yahoo NFL power rankings: No. 12 (🔻4)
NFL and betting writer Frank Schwab placed the Bengals at No. 12 this week, down four spots from last week's No. 8 ranking.
The Bengals' "surprising" loss to the Texans now puts them in a more "desperate" spot against the Ravens, Schwab writes.

Sports Illustrated NFL power rankings: No. 6 (🔻1)
Sports Illustrated's power rankings continue to be a bright spot for Bengals fans. The outlet ranked the team No. 6, down just one spot from last week's No. 5 placement.
"Cincinnati has only really dropped games with an unhealthy Burrow, or when a good receiver makes a momentary error," Conor Orr writes. "It’s a winning recipe."

The Bengals ranked No. 12 on the NFL's list, down three spots from last week's No. 9. The Texans, meanwhile, cracked the top 10.
