The Kansas City Chiefs got back into the win column on Sunday with a 31-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Kansas City’s offense eclipsed the 30-point mark for just the third time this season and put up points in the second half for the first time in three games. Running back Isiah Pacheco was the workhorse, carrying the ball 15 times and adding another five catches while finding the endzone twice.
The Chiefs’ defense got off to a surprisingly sluggish start, allowing touchdown drives on two of Las Vegas’ first three possessions. It would settle in, however, allowing just a lone field goal the rest of the way. The K.C. defense has held its opponents under 20 points six times this season.
