Chicago Bears announce Nick Foles as their starter
It took three weeks but Matt Nagy finally made the obvious call. Nick Foles is the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears, starting in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Nick Foles’ first game as the #Bears’ starting QB is against the #Colts, who had talks with the #Jaguars about acquiring Foles while also negotiating with Philip Rivers. They opted for signing Rivers, who will now face Foles. Love that storyline.

Foles came off the bench in Week 3 and saved the Bears’ undefeated mark with three touchdown passes in the final quarter as Chicago stunned Atlanta.
NICK FOLES.
His 3rd TD of the 4th quarter and the @ChicagoBears have taken the lead! #DaBears

Trubisky has never lived up to the billing as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has been inconsistent to be kind.

With Nick Foles being named the new starter, is the Trubisky era over in Chicago?
