Here are the Top Performers based on results submitted to us from May 6-11:

BASEBALL

Campbellsport: Tyler Sachen hit a three-run home run, Kyler Bowe went 2-for-4, and Brody Nolan had an RBI base hit as Riley Kohlmann cruised to a complete game win on the mound, allowing five hits, a walk and two runs with six strikeouts in a 4-2 victory over Mayville on Wednesday.

Sachen kept things rolling at the plate, the following night, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs in a 5-4 win over the Cardinals. Bowe added another pair of hits in five at-bats and Jace Goebel walked three times, scoring twice.

Finally, in game one of Saturday's doubleheader - a 4-2 win over Grafton - Bowe pitched six innings for the win, allowing six hits, two walks, and a run to go with six strikeouts while going 2-for-4 at the plate and scoring twice. Goebel went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI, and Sachen collected a hit and an RBI.

Then in game two, Owen Bong threw a complete game no-hitter against New Holstein to lead the Cougars to their ninth win in a row. Bong struck out six and walked two. Sachen, Goebel and Bowe each collected RBIs.

No. 2 (D-3) Laconia: In game two of a doubleheader against No. 6 (D-3) Lomira on Thursday, Sawyer Shultis led off with a home run off the Lions' Josh Steger (his first earned run allowed all season), Camden Smit followed up with a double, and Colton Hagner hit a two-run home run to immediately give the Spartans a 3-0 lead on the reigning unanimous conference player of the year.

No. 6 (D-3) Lomira: In Monday's 11-1 victory over Markesan: Jack Luedtke had four hits and Easton Zangl followed with three hits.

Josh Steger picked up the win in game one of a doubleheader against No. 2 (D-3) Laconia on Thursday after pitching four innings with seven strikeouts, allowing one hit. Connor Steers went 2-for-4 with a double, Luedtke went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, Zangl was 3-for-4 with a run, and Steger helped his own cause with a three-run home run.

Then in game two, Weston Poth picked up the win, allowing a hit and three walks with six strikeouts over five innings. Zangl was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Steger was 1-for-3 with a walk, double, and run scored.

Mayville: In Friday's 11-0 victory over Luther Prep: Mason Gerth threw a 5-inning no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and one walk allowed. Cohen Raddemann, Austin Thoreson, and Payton Borchardt each collected a pair of hits, including doubles from the former two and Bobby Held, and Thoreson had two RBIs.

No. 8 (D-4) Oakfield: In Monday's 16-2 victory over Montello: Mitchell Moser earned the win after six innings pitched, allowing six hits to go with seven strikeouts, and helped himself out with three RBIs. Bo Bijl, Owen Lawson, Carson Fisher and Bailey Schepp each had two hits, including a double for both Fisher and Schepp, and three RBIs for Fisher.

St. Mary's Springs: Luke Schwartz hit a home run while Tate Baker and Riley Brenner each had run-scoring hits in Thursday's 6-4 loss to Winnebago Lutheran.

Winnebago Lutheran: In Monday's 4-2 victory over Winneconne: Ethan Peterson collected three hits, including a home run, and Noah Schumacher had a pair of hits, including a double. Owen Reible threw three shutout innings in relief to earn the win and Ty Faris notched the save after closing out the final two innings, striking out four.

In Wednesday's 6-4 victory over St. Mary Springs: Mason Faust, Schumacher and Peterson each doubled, and Jack Karst drove in a pair. Sam Ferguson pitched two scoreless innings to earn the win on the mound and executed a perfect two-strike suicide squeeze to help give the Vikings the lead.

In Thursday's 6-4 win over St. Mary's Springs: Faris had two hits, including a double, and Sam Loehr added a two-run single to lead the Vikings' offense. Andy Simon earned the win and Kylar Grassel pitched two innings in relief to earn the save.

Finally, in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader - an 11-1 victory over Weyauwega-Fremont, Ferguson racked up 12 strikeouts while allowing three hits, two walks, and one run over five innings to earn the win. Karst and Peterson each collected three more hits and Faris went 2-for-2 with two RBIs.

In game two - a 5-4 walk-off victory over Berlin, Faust delivered a pair of hits and drove in three, including the game-winning RBI single to score Faris.

SOFTBALL

Campbellsport: Emma Muraski doubled, and Peyton Hall allowed just two hits and struck out 10 over six innings in a tough luck 1-0 loss to Lomira on Thursday.

Fond du Lac: In Thursday's 10-7 loss to Oshkosh North: Mackenna Shultis, Ava Vermillion and Susan Vokes each collected three hits apiece. Shultis doubled three times and Vermillion drove in three runs.

Laconia: Aubrey Maurer homered in Monday's 7-6 loss to St. Mary's Springs, then followed with another home run and a double in three at-bats in Thursday's 2-1 victory over No. 3 (D-3) Mayville. Addi Maurer tossed seven innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out 11 to earn the win against the Cardinals.

In Friday's 15-0 three-inning victory over Omro: Lily Schultz threw a perfect game, needing just 39 pitches (28 strikes) to strike out seven of the nine batters she faced. Aubrey Maurer went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two driven in. Kendyl Pluim went 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and five driven in. Schultz helped herself out with two hits in three at-bats, including a triple, with two runs and two RBIs.

No. 5 (D-3) Lomira: Savanna Frea drove in Trista Gassner to score the lone run in Thursday's 1-0 victory over Campbellsport. Haleigh Caspary allowed two hits, walked two, and struck out six over seven innings to earn the win in the circle.

In Saturday's doubleheader: Gassner went 4-for-5 with two doubles, five runs scored and two RBIs; Taylor Bloohm was 4-for-6 with five runs scored and three RBIs; and Frea went 3-for-5 with five RBIs. Caspary picked up another win in game two.

No. 3 (D-3) Mayville: In Thursday's 2-1 loss to Laconia: Hannah Wolf homered, and Allie Schwirtz went six innings in the circle, allowing just two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out 10.

North Fond du Lac: In Monday's 8-3 victory over Ripon: Allison Now and Lauren Stettbacher each had two hits apiece and Lucy Schumacher added a pair of RBIs. Maddie Langolf swiped four of the Orioles' 11 stolen bases as a team. Leah Patterson picked up the win after seven innings, allowing five hits and two earned runs to go with six strikeouts.

Oshkosh North: In Monday's 7-1 victory over Appleton North: Anna Borst went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a stolen base and Brooke Peters tossed seven innings to earn the win, allowing just four hits and a run to go with seven strikeouts.

In Thursday's 10-7 win over Fond du Lac: Ava Hanson and Olivia Borowitz each recorded three hits, including a pair of doubles for the latter, and both Borowitz and Allie Leib drove in three runs while Hanson scored three times.

In Friday's 5-4 loss to Oshkosh West: Emma Niemczyk collected three doubles and an RBI while Peters struck out eight, allowing a single earned run over 6 2/3 innings.

Oshkosh West: Colleen Fitzpatrick doubled and tripled in three at-bats in Wednesday's 2-0 loss to No. 1 (D-1) Kaukauna.

Fitzpatrick added a double and home run with two RBIs in Thursday's 4-3 victory over Kimberly. Laina Hammen also homered, and Hailey Hammen went 3-for-3 with two runs scored.

In Friday's 5-4 win over Oshkosh North: Emmy Reichenberger and Alayna Sadowska each collected three hits, including a double apiece, and Sadowska drove in four runs while earning the win in the circle after a complete game, allowing one run to score.

St. Mary's Springs: In Monday's 7-6 victory over Laconia: Gracie Konkol drove in three on an inside-the-park home run, walked, scored twice, and earned the win in the circle.

In Thursday's 11-0 win over Omro: Maliyah Galligan threw a perfect game with 10 strikeouts. Aubrey Hafermann collected three hits and four RBIs.

No. 8 (D-2) Waupun: Kailie Westphal went 2-for-3 with an RBI, becoming just the fifth player in program history to reach 100 career hits, in a 4-3 victory over Winneconne on Friday. Addison Braun threw a complete game, allowing three hits and three walks over seven innings with 12 strikeouts. Kylie Pluim went 2-for-3 with a double, Lexie Gerritson had a double with two RBIs and Rozlynn Rivera added a single and RBI.

Waupun junior Kailie Westphal became just the fifth player in program history to reach 100 career hits with her second base knock of the game against Winneconne. The Warriors defeated the Wolves, 4-3, to clinch at least a share of the East Central conference championship in front of their home crowd at Jerry Medema Fields in Waupun, Friday, May 10, 2024.

The very next day, in game one of a doubleheader - a 10-1 win over Oakfield - Gerritson singled in her first at-bat to become the sixth player in program history with 100 career hits. She finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs and Westphal went 3-for-5 with two runs driven in. Braun pitched six innings to earn another win, allowing just an unearned run on two hits and two walks with five strikeouts.

Winnebago Lutheran: In Monday's 11-1 victory over Omro: Anna Trewin collected three hits, including a home run. Kylah Simon and Maddie Anhalt each followed with two hits, and Anhalt threw four innings in the circle, allowing one run on two hits while striking out 10.

Simon picked up another pair of hits in a 3-0 loss to Springs on Wednesday.

In Thursday's 7-2 win over North Fond du Lac: Leah Matthias and Anhalt led with three hits each while Trewin added a pair, including a triple, and three runs scored. Addy Suprenand tallied two RBIs. Anhalt earned the win in the circle, allowing just three hits.

Finally, in Friday's 15-8 non-conference win over Eastern Wisconsin conference co-leader, Valders: Trewin, Addy Suprenand, Matthias and Abby Walta all had two hits each. Averie Suprenand earned the complete game victory in the circle, allowing four earned runs over seven innings.

BOYS GOLF

Berlin: Alex Johnson shot a 38 overall (+3) to tie for fifth in the sixth East Central Conference meet, hosted at Hon-E-Kor Golf Club in Kewaskum on Wednesday.

Johnson shot a 36 (+1) to tie for second at the conference meet hosted by Plymouth at Quit-Qui-Oc on Friday. Hudson Masters tied for eighth with a 38 (+3).

Campbellsport: Trevor Schanen shot a 43 overall to take seventh place in the front leg of a Flyway conference doubler, hosted by North Fond du Lac, and a 42 to tie for eighth in the second leg, hosted by Winnebago Lutheran, on Wednesday.

Caden Vollendorf shot a 42 to take fifth place at the conference meet hosted by Mayville on Friday.

Fond du Lac: Will Mauthe shot a 33 overall (-3) to lead the Cardinals to a 158-158 draw against Appleton West at Winagamie on Tuesday, which swung in favor of the Terrors after claiming the tiebreaker. Blake Spies followed with a 38 (+2), the third-lowest score, overall.

Mauthe followed with a team-low 36 and Cole Thorin shot a 37 to help Fondy pick up the 151-162 win over Appleton North on Thursday.

Finally, Mauthe wrapped up his week with an even 36 to lead Fondy to a 157-164 victory over Kimberly at Rolling Meadows on Friday.

Laconia: Jack Hoinacki shot a 41 overall to tie for sixth place in the second leg of a Flyway conference doubler hosted by Winnebago Lutheran on Wednesday.

Lomira: Preston Jung shot a 40 overall to tie for third place in the front leg of a Flyway conference doubler hosted by North Fond du Lac on Wednesday. Alex Luedtke followed with a 44 to tie for eighth. Jung followed with another 40 and tied for a third-place finish, again, in the second leg, hosted by Winnebago Lutheran.

Jung finished his week with a 39 for one more third place finish at the meet hosted by Mayville on Friday and Luedtke followed with a 41 for fourth place.

Mayville: Ray Baldus shot a 39 overall to take second place in the front leg of a Flyway conference doubler, hosted by North Fond du Lac, and followed with a 40 to tie for third in the second leg, hosted by Winnebago Lutheran, on Wednesday

North Fond du Lac: Drew Stettbacher shot a 42 overall to take sixth place in the front leg of a Flyway conference doubler hosted by the Orioles on Wednesday and followed up with a 38 on Friday to tie for first at the meet hosted by Mayville.

Oshkosh North: Christian Geffers shot a team-low 40 overall (+4) in a 167-170 conference loss to Appleton East on Wednesday at Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton.

Dan Chopp shot a team-low 40 overall in a 170-191 conference victory over Oshkosh West on Thursday. Geffers followed with a 41 and Owen Weber shot a 42 to finish with the second and third-best scores.

No. 4 (D-3) St. Mary's Springs: Tyler Hoffmann shot a 38 overall to take first place and help lead the Ledgers to team wins in both legs of a Flyway conference doubler on Wednesday, the first leg hosted by North Fond du Lac. Ben Baker followed with a 41 to finish in fifth and Jameson Ahern shot a 44 to tie for eighth.

In the second leg, hosted by Winnebago Lutheran, Hoffmann tied teammate Khalil Rebek with another 38 to claim another individual win, and Ahern penciled a 40 to tie for third.

Rebek tied for first, again, with a second 38 at Friday's meet hosted by Mayville, leading the Ledgers to their third team win of the week.

Waupun: Nathan Batzler shot a 39 overall (+4) to tie for ninth in the sixth East Central Conference meet, hosted at Hon-E-Kor Golf Club in Kewaskum on Wednesday.

Winnebago Lutheran: Trenton Klawitter shot a 40 overall to tie for third place in the front leg of a Flyway conference doubler hosted by North Fond du Lac on Wednesday.

Ellis Keifenheim shot a 41 to tie for sixth in the second leg, hosted by the Vikings, and Klawitter followed with a 42 to tie for eighth.

No. 3 (D-2) Winneconne: Austin Dobbe shot a 37 overall (+2) to tie for third in the sixth East Central Conference meet, hosted at Hon-E-Kor Golf Club in Kewaskum on Wednesday. Parker Groff followed with a 39 (+4) to tie for ninth.

Groff shot a 36 (+1) to tie for second at the conference meet hosted by Plymouth at Quit-Qui-Oc on Friday. Dobbe and Casey Peters each recorded a 37 (+2) to tie for sixth.

GIRLS SOCCER

Central Wisconsin Christian: Lauren Ruis scored all four goals and Kiley Beer had two assists in Thursday's 4-0 victory over Omro. Ruis followed with four more goals and Beer added a hat trick with five more assists in Saturday's 11-0 win over Campbellsport.

Fond du Lac: Francesca Parker provided the equalizer off a corner kick in the second half to lift Fondy to a 1-1 tie against Neenah on Thursday. Lilly Kejo had eight saves.

Lourdes Academy/Valley Christian: Ellie Koch scored the lone goal in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Winnebago Lutheran.

Winnebago Lutheran: Leah Theisen and Kyah Rathje each had two goals in Thursday's 6-0 victory over Valders.

Winneconne: Ruby Kuehn finished second in the 1600 Meter Run (5:44.64) and Emily Schell finished first in the shot put (35-04) at the Algoma Invitational on Tuesday.

BOYS TENNIS

Fond du Lac: The Cardinals' No. 1 singles player Leyton Batchelder defeated Plymouth's Gianni Frausto, 6-3, 7-5. In the No. 3 singles matchup, Logan Winkel defeated Tom Yoshigahara, 6-2, 6-1. The Fondy duo also each collected individual victories over Slinger's Samuel Davis (6-0, 6-0) and Dane Olsen (6-4, 5-7, 10-5).

Oshkosh West: The Wildcats' No. 1 and No. 2 singles players, Jacob Stinski and Kole Stauffacher, picked up individual wins over Appleton North's Tyler Salm (6-1, 6-1) and Cam Hoffmann (6-1, 6-2), respectively, in a 4-3 team win against the Lightning on Wednesday.

West's top two doubles teams, Ryan Jorgensen/Yosef Edsell and Reid Potter/Gavin Steiner also collected wins over North's Ryan Graf/Padraig Hasz (6-0, 6-1) and Christopher Goymeric/Spencer Munson (6-4, 6-4), respectively.
